Day 1– Arrive in Calgary and transfer to Kananaskis Country, approximately 45 minutes drive from Calgary. You choose! Stay in an authentic Sioux tipi or a rustic trappers tent.

Day 2 -After a light breakfast, travel to one of the local ranches for a two hour trail ride through the spectacular views of the Kananaskis area, followed by a delicious barbecued steak lunch. In the afternoon, you will then enjoy a vigorous hike along the beautiful banks of the Kananaskis River before returning to your camp for dinner.

DAY 3

You will travel to Banff National Park after breakfast to spend the next three nights staying in accommodation that melds the architecture of both an A-frame cabin and a prospector’s tent. Following lunch, a Parks Canada staff member will orient you to the topography and environment of the area. Take some time to explore your surroundings before heading into the charming town of Banff for dinner.

DAY 4

The Banff Upper Hot Springs will be your stop after breakfast today for a soak in the warm natural mineral water, surrounded by stunning views of the Rocky Mountains. Lunch will be at the café, after which you are welcome to visit the incredible Banff Springs Hotel and then spend some free time exploring the Banff townsite until dinner, before returning for your last night at the camp.

DAY 5

Exquisite Lake Louise will be today’s stop, where you will have time for both lunch and shopping. On your way back to the camp, stop at Johnston Canyon for an invigorating half day hike to the Upper Falls, followed by a delectable take-out meal to be relished back at base camp.

The tour includes a thrilling stroll along the cliff-edged Glacier Skywalk. Enjoy a yummy lunch in the cafe before continuing to the town of Jasper. Here you will stay in rustic tent cabins for three nights.

DAY 7

Today, breathtaking views will be spread out before you as you take the Jasper SkyTram to the top of Whistler Mountain. Spend some time hiking and exploring this gorgeous region before enjoying lunch in the Summit Cafe. Later, discover nearby mountain lakes and enjoy a swim in their refreshing waters prior to returning to the camp for an evening meal.
