The school is a faith‐centered learning community that fosters excellence within the individual, promoting academics and citizenship through the living of Christian values. Assumption, like all publicly funded Catholic schools in Ontario, also accepts non‐Catholics. They are expected to take part in the religious activities and mandatory religious classes. Being an "Open Access" school, Assumption prepares and delivers the religious curriculum in a way that allows all students to meet with high levels of success and interest.
