2) Music Concentration program: As a part of this program, students can expect to play an instrument/participate in a band, develop their singing voice, use basic piano skills and compose their own music on MIDI stations using synthesizers, and understand and experience music from diverse cultures from around the world and ethnic communities in the Montreal area.

4) French Immersion Rosemount High School is committed to preparing its students to be responsible, productive, and bilingual members of society. Students are encouraged to reach their full potential academically, morally and socially. In a secure, multicultural setting, students learn to be respectful and appreciative of themselves and others. The school strives to develop self‐esteem, self respect and self discipline within each student.

Facilities

School facilities include two double gymnasiums, an auditorium that can seat 762 people, a library, a computer lab, specialized drama & art rooms, two circular sound‐proofed music rooms, and a large soccer field.

Board Games, Design Squad, Book Club, Recycling Club, Robotics, House Leadership Council, Student Ambassadors, Yearbook, Calculus Club, and many more!

Athletics

Soccer, Badminton, Basketball, Volleyball, Touch football and Golf. Rosemount also has a strong athletics program with two double gymnasiums and tennis courts on site.

Arts

Students who attend Nacel Canada’s program in Montréal may choose to stay with either a predominantly French or English speaking host family.  Most people in Montréal are bilingual, however some favour one language more than the other in their everyday conversation.  All students studying in Montréal are exposed to both languages.

Our high school exchange programs in Canada provide full board.  Students will be welcomed by warm Canadian host families and learn firsthand about one another's culture ‪and live in a warming and comfortable environment.

You will have the opportunity to develop your language and social skills by meeting new friends and sharing experiences with your host family. Canadians are always looking forward to learn about your culture, yourself and everything about your home country.  Host families are carefully selected by our local coordinator, based on availability and your interests and hobbies.  

Canadian host families are also well known for supporting exchange students, by offering care at all times. International students will feel like at home, from the moment they arrive.  ‪We have many stories of students keeping in touch for years with their second families, visiting again with their own parents etc.
 
Students can also count on the full support of our local coordinators in Canada, who will be more than glad to offer any extra support, in case students are feeling homesick, need some extra reinforcement with school subjects, or need advice in communicating with the host family. Students must be aware that they might be placed in several host families during their exchange program in Canada ‪(due to availability, life circumstance, change of jobs etc.).
