2) Extended French program, Aboriginal Studies, Repertoire Music, Extensive Technical Studies The school has one of the best technology programs in the region, with students from other schools (both separate and public) participating in technology programs offered by the school. Loyola has the highest literacy rate in all of Ontario, Canada.
Facilities
Since 2007, the school has upgraded numerous sports facilities at the school, including replacing the gymnasium floor, purchasing electronic bleachers for spectators and spending over $2 million CAD on a new sports field, which is now completed. The District School Board is currently undertaking a three phase renovation and addition project at Loyola. 10 new classrooms have been added, as well as a new parking lot, hair and makeup studio, food and nutrition room, and cafeteria.
