Two Week ESL & Homestay in Calgary plus One Week Tour of the Rockies and Badlands
Spend two weeks living with a host family and studying English in the beautiful city of Calgary, Alberta. While in Calgary you will also enjoy such activities as visiting the Glenbow Museum, the Calgary Zoo, and shopping in Calgary’s vibrant commercial districts.
Then, embark on an amazing one-week, outdoor adventure tour. You will begin by spending a night in the rolling ranch country of Kananaskis, where you will reside in either an authentic trapper’s cabin or Native American Tipi. Activities will include horseback riding and white water rafting.
Depart the foothills and head into the heart of the Canadian Rockies to spend 3 nights in Banff. While in Banff, visit the world famous Upper Hotsprings and the Banff Springs Hotel. You will also spend a day exploring Johnston Canyon and visiting the beautiful resort of Lake Louise.
Leaving Banff, you will travel to the Icefields Parkway, where you will visit and learn about the Columbia Icefields and experience the National Park’s newest attraction, the Glacier Skywalk. Overnight at the David Thompson Resort.
For the last stop of the tour, travel to Drumheller to see Alberta’s Badlands. You will also visit the Royal Tyrell Museum with its incredible displays of dinosaur fossils and special exhibitions. Overnight in Drumheller and spend the next day exploring the Badlands. Return to Calgary for your flight home.
