Day 1 –You will depart from Canada.
Day 2 – Arriving at Casablanca airport you will transfer to your hotel then explore the fascinating port city of Casablanca that has a unique blend of European and Moorish architecture including the phenomenal Hassan II Mosque, the largest in Morocco.

Day 3 – After breakfast, you will be driven to the sixth largest city in Morocco: Meknes. Meet your local guide there who will take you for an engaging guided tour around the medina.
Later on in the day, drive to the archeological site of Volubilis. Discover the memorable sea creature mosaic in the House of Orpheus, and marvel at the exploits and labours of Hercules, which are depicted in stunning detail, before continuing on to Fes.

Day 4 – This morning, meet your local guide to Fes and get set for a full day tour of the old medina of Fes: the spiritual and cultural heart of Morocco.

Visit the well-known tanneries and walk through souks and markets full of exotic sights and scents, later learning about the signature dish of Fes: the sweet and salty pastilla.
Day 5 – Today, leave Fes and drive to Ifrane, well known for its naturally stunning caves, nicknamed Little Switzerland for its winter beauty and ski resorts which attract fans of winter games.
Join your leader for a visit to a cedar park where you will discover the oldest tree in this region on a one hour walk where you can also be amazed by local flora and fauna, including the famous barbary macaque, before driving to Midelt.

Day 6 –The highlight of your trip happens today: seeing the orange-coloured Erg Chebbi sand dunes. The Erg Chebbi is one of the world’s iconic landscapes, with towering dunes up to 150 meters in height.
You will leave your gear at a simple auberge and then ride camels to the edge of the Sahara Desert, admiring a spectacular sunset along the way. The dunes are full of unworldly beauty, especially as the evening light plays across them, setting off their myriad of colours. Tonight, you will camp out in traditional style, tasting fantastic local cuisine while you sit around an open fire, listening to lively music and dancing under the stars.
Day 7 –Drive to Todra today, a massive trench that rises over 250 meters to form one of the most dramatic natural sights in Morocco. You will stop for a walk there before continuing back to your home for the next two nights: Mgoun valley.

Day 8 – After breakfast, you will enjoy a full day’s hike exploring the largely untouched Moroccan backcountry. The surrounding mountains and the famous Rose Valley make for a sensational setting.
Day 9 – Drive to Ait Benhaddou in the morning, an ancient fortified village. Eat lunch in a traditional Kasbah, where a long list of shows have been filmed, including Lawrence of Arabia, Game of Thrones, Gladiator and The Mummy. Stroll to the top of the hill for lunch before continuing to Marrakesh.

When night falls, you will be treated to a delicious dinner in the stalls of DJamaa-El-Fna square.

Day 10 –After breakfast, you will have the chance to see the sights of Marrakesh from a different perspective – on two wheels. Travel through the King’s palace, the Medina, and the Djeema-El-Fna, where you will drink some of the best fresh squeezed orange juice in the world, learn about some all-natural Moroccan medicinal recipes, and sample some of the exotic spices that feature in Moroccan cuisine.
