Group Tours France : Description

DAY 1

You will depart from a Canadian airport.

DAY 2

Arriving in Paris you will meet your local guide. Enjoy a tour of Paris including visits to the legendary beauties of the Eiffel Tower, the Avenue des Champs Elysée, and the Arc de Triomphe. Transfer to your hotel before dinner.

DAY 3

You will visit the Grand Apartments of the Palace of Versailles and spend some free time in the gardens today, then eat a picnic lunch before traveling to Normandy. With free time in Honfleur before dinner, you can soak up the local sights.

DAY 4

Enjoy a complimentary visit to the Caen Memorial before your picnic lunch, discovering such key eras as “The World at the Time of the Cold War” and “A World for Peace”. Attend a presentation at the Arromanches 360° Circular Cinema before dinner and a night at the hotel.

DAY 5

During an audio-guided tour of the Bayeux Tapestry, you will learn about this detailed work of art before your picnic lunch and a fascinating tour of the landing beaches until dinner time.

DAY 6

You will appreciate some free time to visit the batteries of Longues sur Mer before a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy some free time prior to dinner and another night in the hotel.

DAY 7

Today, you will travel by Park Road to Mont Saint Michel, also known as “the Wonder of the West.” A visit to the Abbey, with audio book guide, will be offered before some time to wander in the medieval village and eat a picnic lunch. Travel to the Loire Valley, where dinner will be provided at your hotel.

DAY 8

Today, you can discover the splendid Renaissance Gardens of Villandry prior to your picnic lunch. Later, the startling Clos Lucé Castle and the inspiring Leonardo da Vinci Park are on the itinerary prior to dinner.

DAY 9

The Château de Chenonceau is on this morning’s schedule before your packed lunch. In the afternoon, you will visit the Château de Chambord. Return to Paris for dinner and overnight in a popular youth hostel.

DAY 10

Ascend Montparnasse Tower today to admire the views of Paris. Then, delight in a cruise on the Seine. After a rustic lunch, you will take in the many wonders of the Louvre Museum before dinner and a night in the hostel.

DAY 11

On this final day, you will visit the Cité des Sciences. After a picnic lunch, you will have free time in Montmartre and Sacré Coeur before a farewell dinner.

DAY 12

You will transfer to the airport for your flight home, mind richer for all the sights you’ve experienced.
